For ECE R22.06 models. Fit differs from older ECE R22.05 helmets, so measure again before choosing the same size.

It should fit snugly and comfortably. Biltwell advises checking that it moves the skin on your forehead and cheeks rather than sliding freely around your head. Ask PCM if you feel pressure, discomfort or excessive movement. A correctly fitting Biltwell helmet feels tight on the cheeks at first; the cheek pads break in and become more comfortable with use. PCM carries Biltwell cheek pads to help dial in the fit.

How to measure your head

Use a flexible tape around the widest part of your head, following the path shown in Biltwell’s diagram: across your forehead above your eyebrows, over your temples, above your ears and around the widest part at the back of your head. Keep the tape level and snug without pulling it tight. Measure again to check your result. If your measurement falls between the published ranges, ask PCM for help.

Gringo S ECE R22.06 - Gloss Black

An old favorite but now with a new fit and new features. Our latest Gringo S helmet not only meets DOT regulations in the US, it also meets the new European ECE 22.06 regs. The shield mechanism now uses the same anti-rattle closure featured on our Lane Splitter helmets. Three shell sizes replace the previous two for improved fit and comfort.
