Struts are installed with the stock hardware on your bike (bolts, washers).
Simply jack the rear wheel up enough to relieve the pressure on the shocks, remove the shocks and slide on the struts, replace the bolts and washers, you're ready to ride!
For the 750 shaft drive models, the metal bushings must be removed from shock ends (the rubber part isn't needed) and put into the struts mounting holes, it's super dang simple!
They can be pressed out by hand, but a socket and some vise grips will do the job in a pinch!
How much the struts will lower your bike will vary depending on model, tire size, tire inflation, wheel size, rake, etc.
To determine approximately how much these shocks will lower your bike, measure your shocks mounts center to center and subtract 9.5" That distance will be approximately how much the bike will be lowered.

Vintage style curves and contours provide eye appeal while the 5/16" diameter mounting holes make for a simple installation. Leather washers are provided to prevent paint damage and provide vibration resistance. This fender bracket is most commonly used to mount flat profile fenders (4.5" minimum width) to a frame cross member. The straight portion of the bracket is easily trimmed to length to fit your application. Although this bracket is designed to best fit flat profile fenders, we have found that it works well to mount TC Bros. SKU #105-0136 rear fender because the center portion of the fender is a very large radius (nearly flat).
Combine this bracket with a set of our universal fender struts (SKU #104-0008) and you have a fender mounting system that will withstand the most demanding rigid frame applications. Sold individually.
