Complete Fuel Tank Restoration System

The Kreem Combo Kit is the industry-standard solution for repairing and sealing motorcycle fuel tanks. This comprehensive 3-step system removes rust, prepares the metal surface, and applies a durable protective liner to restore leaking or corroded tanks to like-new condition.

What's Included:

  • Kreem Rust Remover - Dissolves rust and corrosion
  • Metal Prep - Etches and prepares the tank surface
  • Kreem Tank Liner - Seals and protects the interior

Technical Specifications

  • Coverage: Treats tanks up to 5 gallons (19 liters)
  • Cure Time: 96 hours (4 days) for full cure
  • Temperature Range: Apply at 70°F (21°C) or above for best results
  • Compatibility: Gasoline only - not for use with ethanol blends above E10

Step-by-Step Application Instructions

Step 1: Rust Removal (24 hours)

  • Remove petcock, fuel cap, and all fittings from tank
  • Pour Kreem Rust Remover into tank and seal all openings
  • Rotate tank every few hours to ensure complete coverage
  • Let sit for 24 hours, then drain and rinse thoroughly with water
  • Dry completely using compressed air or heat gun

Step 2: Metal Prep (30 minutes)

  • Pour Metal Prep solution into dried tank
  • Rotate and agitate for 20-30 minutes to etch the metal surface
  • Drain completely and rinse with water
  • Dry immediately and thoroughly - moisture will cause liner failure

Step 3: Tank Liner Application (96 hours cure)

  • Work in a well-ventilated area at 70°F or warmer
  • Pour entire contents of Kreem Liner into tank
  • Rotate tank slowly and continuously for 20-30 minutes, coating all interior surfaces
  • Drain excess liner back into container (can be reused immediately)
  • Remove tape from openings and allow fumes to escape
  • Let tank sit upright for 4-6 hours, then rotate 90° every few hours
  • Allow 96 hours (4 days) for complete cure before adding fuel

Important Safety & Application Notes

  • Work in a well-ventilated area - fumes are strong
  • Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection
  • Tank must be completely dry before applying liner - any moisture will cause failure
  • Do not use with ethanol fuels above E10 (10% ethanol)
  • Remove all old liner or sealant before starting
  • Ambient temperature must be 70°F (21°C) or higher during application and cure

Best Results Tips

For tanks with heavy rust, you may need to repeat Step 1 or use mechanical cleaning first. Ensure absolute dryness before liner application - this is the most critical step. Plan for a full week without riding to allow proper cure time.
