Narrow Sporty Tank
2.1 Gallon Narrow Sportster Style Gas Tank with "Frisco Style" low tunnel to let the tank sit high on the backbone. For years, people have been modifying OEM Harley Davidson Peanut Sportster tanks by cutting them in half, narrowing the tank by removing a section of the middle, and welding everything back together. This look is great, but accomplishing this modification on an OEM tank is very labor-intensive. Fear not, for we have your solution at a great price! This tank is 100% brand new construction and has the same shape that is achieved when you modify/narrow an OEM Harley Sportster tank, but without all the work!
The cap bung is set up high (for max fuel capacity) and is a standard OEM Harley cam lock. You can find a chrome gas cap here and a black gas cap here. The 1/4" NPT petcock bung has been placed on the side near the rear of the tank for maximum fuel usage as well. This tank is the highest quality TIG-welded construction and is pressure tested at the factory before shipping. Please see the photos for dimensions.
Even though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory. We recommend sealing any custom tank with Tank Sealer before painting. Use the Universal Mounting Kit for easy install
