Alpinestars Supertech R10 — Full-Face Carbon Race Helmet

The Alpinestars Supertech R10 is Alpinestars' most advanced full-face helmet — engineered for track riders who demand the highest level of protection, aerodynamic performance, and fit precision. This Black / Carbon Red / Glossy White colorway pairs a classic race livery with the same multi-composite carbon shell platform validated in CFD simulation, wind tunnel testing, and MotoGP competition.

Outer Shell

Multi-composite construction featuring a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, a uni-directional carbon composite layer, an aramid fiber layer, and a fiberglass layer — all bonded with pre-preg epoxy resin for an optimal fiber-to-resin ratio. The result is exceptional strength, minimal weight, and superior energy dissipation across the shell surface.

Inner Shell & Impact Management

Four inner shell sizes — Optimized construction ensures correct fit across sizes, improving comfort, reducing weight, and maximizing impact effectiveness.
Eight-piece multi-density EPS liner — Six specific densities strategically positioned for excellent energy absorption from both linear and oblique impacts.
Low-friction EPS inner surface — Polished and specially coated to allow the comfort liner to move against the EPS, letting the rider's head move independently inside the helmet. Significantly reduces rotational and oblique force transmission to the head, neck, brain, and spine.
A-Head Fitment System — Adjusts both the height and forward/backward angle of the helmet on the rider's head for a precise, tuned fit unique to each rider.

Aerodynamics

Developed with CFD simulations, validated in the wind tunnel and on track.
Two interchangeable spoilers — Standard and extended race versions, both fitted with elastic joints that allow detachment under significant impact to reduce rotational energy.
Lateral winglets for additional stability and reduced aerodynamic drag.
Visor turbulators to improve aero-acoustic performance at speed.

Ventilation

11 ventilation points — 7 intakes (3 chin guard, 4 top) and 4 exhausts (2 lateral chin bar, 2 top rear).
Ventilation ports integrate directly with the shell and route air through internal EPS ducts, actively circulating airflow over the rider's head and extracting it out the rear.
Chin vents channel air across the inner shield surface to prevent fogging and misting.
Top vent central slider directs airflow to the crown with forehead extraction when open.

Visor & Shield

Optical Class 1 shield — 3mm thick, anti-scratch and anti-fog coated, with internal pins for Pinlock® lens and tear-offs.
220° lateral / 57° vertical field of view — Wide eye port with lowered side line for maximum visibility.
Metal locking mechanism — Prevents unwanted shield detachment during impacts.
Tool-less quick-release visor system for fast track-side changes.
