Perhaps the most fabled name in the entire Arai lineup, the Corsair-X has long been renowned as one of the most advanced, highest quality helmets available anywhere in the world. It represents the culmination of Arai's vast experience in helmet design and unwavering focus on rider protection. With features like the ingenious VAS shield mechanism, dramatically improved airflow and ventilation, and an odor-resistant liner, the Corsair-X has earned its place as Arai's flagship model.

Arai is the only company offering multiple interior-fit shapes to better address the infinite variety of riders' head shapes and sizes. The Corsair-X features Arai's Intermediate Oval (IO) interior fit shape. A helmet must be tried on to determine a proper fit.
Created from super fiber and special synthetic fibers and assembled by Arai experts, the shell provides superb tensile strength and flexibility. A variety of carefully placed materials combined with newly developed resins result in strong shells with less weight.
New Type 12 diffusers are 20mm longer and take in 19% more air than the previous design. The new air intake vents have three positions and are designed to provide improved sealing, decreasing road noise and water intrusion.
The fully removable interior comfort liner features odor-resistant material that helps maintain a neutral pH level close to the skin. Soft frame material is more comfortable and includes removable temple padding and a removable/replaceable crown pad for a customized fit.
The VAS Max Vision shield is standard, providing better visibility in all seasons and for all types of riding. A clear Pinlock insert is included standard with the Corsair-X. Looking for a replacement or tinted option? Shop the Arai VAS-V Max Vision BV Shield – Dark Smoke.
The IC Duct-5 provides 11% more airflow than the previous Delta Duct 5. The larger three-position switch is easier to open and limits water intrusion when fully closed.
The chin curtain accentuates the egg-shaped form of the outer shell, blocks turbulent air intrusion from the underside of the helmet, and increases negative pressure to enhance chin vent function by drawing more air from the mouth area.
