Should I risk it or just ask for help? The frame is literally what holds this machine together. Making sure that it is done properly is probably a good idea..
Finding time to be in the shop or garage can be the hardest part of any motorcycle project. I think if you're not continuously making some kind of progress it's easy for the motorcycle to end up on the back burner. Eventually being buried under yard tools and the kids bicycles along with all of your good intentions.

"once I see the frame welded up I will feel like the first chapter of this build will be done. I will have finished stripping the bike down and be back to starting with a raw and ready frame. Then my mind can change to thinking about the "build" part of this project."
one step forward two steps back. Sometimes it's more imprtant to make progress in the less exciting areas in order to move forward.
