Merlin Alton II D3O Leather Jacket - Black

This timeless style was first introduced in the summer of 2017 and has been one of the most popular leather jackets in the Merlin collections. Alton II though sees improvements from years of consumer testing and feedback as well as new impact protection, in the form of D3O.

Riders can now benefit from a revised fixed mesh lining which allows for adjustable elbow armour positions, a fold back collar for summer riding, more ventilation in the front and rear of the jacket, as well as newly adjusted fit blocks to include such changes as more back length and an increased front neck drop to prevent rubbing on the neck.

Merlin Perton II D3O Jacket - Olive

The second generation of Merlin's highly regarded short cut waxed cotton motorcycle jacket has arrived. With the greatest features of our first-generation technical waxed cotton this updated garment sees improvements fed back from years of consumers testing, from around the world.

Constructed from 8oz Cotec, this Halley Stevensons®-Merlin collaboration fabric remains exclusive to Merlin and is half the weight but twice the strength of our traditional waxed cotton. Perton II makes use of Outlast® temperature regulating technology within the thermal liner, which can be zipped out if necessary and the garment has even better breathability with an up-spec Humax waterproof membrane.

Perton II is an even more refined product for the rider looking for both style and protection.

Knox Scaphoid Protection System

Scaphoid injury is the most common hand injury caused by the grab effect when the palm of the hand makes contact with the ground. Knox invented and patented the SPS, which for the first time gave riders effective protection against common scaphoid injuries caused by either a compression fracture or by hyper extension.

The Micro-Lock Knox SPS is a clever system that works by attaching 2 parts to the palm of the glove, making a bridge over the scaphoid. These plastic parts act as a slider eliminating the grab effect and scaphoid injuries, which are notoriously painful and slow to heal. This has proven to be a very effective system for riders with no loss of flexibility, discomfort or interference with the controls when operating the bike.
