The motoscope mini is a highly compact digital instrument for motorbikes.
The LED display we created for the motoscope mini is unique in the instrument realm. 251 ultra-bright LEDs provide an essentially rimless and extremely readable display surface that can entirely be used for the display of readings. This intricate and innovative technology combines a maximum of display surface with minimal casing dimensions.
The unadorned and elegant design of the motoscope mini and its high-class appearance fit every bike, trike, or four-wheel vehicle. Exposed mounting can reinforce style and looks, but it might just as well be installed more discretely and 'clean' - with the mini, everything is possible!
Casing
The high-quality aluminum casing is machined from solid metal and its surface is black anodized. The mirror-polished variant has its own appeal. Electronics come completely moulded-in and are immune to weather, water, dust, and vibrations.
Display and features
The innovative, ultra-bright 251-LED dot matrix shows the engine speed in a scalable horizontal bar graph and all other features as easily readable numeric values. With the push of a button, the engine speed can be displayed as a numerical value (rpm) as well.
For optimal readability in dark, sunlight and dawn conditions, the LED luminosity varies automatically.
Specific engine speed thresholds can be programmed for the display to show the maximum permissible engine speed ('red zone') or a gear shift light with all LEDs pulsating simultaneously.
The kicker: The display of the motoscope mini not only displays numeric values from left to right but from top to bottom as well. Thus, the instrument may also be mounted vertically!
Operation
You can toggle between the different information on the LED display by operating the provided menu push-button or e.g. the headlight flasher push-button on the handlebar.
By default, the display shows the speed value. Other values may be displayed via push-button operation if needed. A feature for automatically switching back to the speed value after a predetermined time or leaving the manually chosen value on the display is provided.
Default settings or recorded values are of course stored even with the power supply switched off.
Mounting
Due to its compact dimensions, the motoscope mini is easily mounted just about anywhere on any vehicle. Single mount on your triple clamp or right onto the handle bar, embedded into already present instrument panels, into the tank, or FBE - this instrument is applicable anywhere.
We offer universal mounts as well as brand-specific solutions e.g. for Buell or Harley-Davidson. Please refer to 'Mounting'.
Connection and sensors
Hassle-free wiring and detailed installation and operating instructions enable even users without any previous experience in handling the vehicle's electrical system to connect this instrument.
The supplied speedometer sensor in stainless steel is very small (M5/25 mm). The 1.5 m connector cable easily connects it to the front or back wheel. This permits easy conversions of originally mechanical speedometer drives.
The motoscope mini is compatible with various original speedometer sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors) used by motorbike manufacturers. In these cases, only the terminals have to be connected while the installation of mechanical sensors will be completely obsolete.
An intelligent 'teaching' function provides for easy speedometer calibration - even in cases of vehicles with sensors at the gearbox.

Motoscope pro
The motoscope pro is the most recent generation of motogadget's digital dashboard series.
Cutting-edge technology enables us to create ultra-slim casing designs. 734 LEDs - governed by a 16-bit RISC processor - create an almost rimless, self-illuminating display matrix. It provides optimal readability even under conditions of direct sunlight. Automatic brightness control is a matter of course.
The rev-counter is displayed fully scalable via the analog LED band with a drag indicator function. The main and secondary displays are user-configurable. Another display section shows the gear currently engaged.
Four indicator lights are pre-installed and can be used for far more input signals via the Breakout Boxes. The motoscope pro is equipped with a fully-fledged CAN-bus interface and thus ready for many of tomorrow's developments for example the plug 'n ride Breakout-Box Triumph (please see tab 'Triumph' above).
The dashboard communicates over a proprietary digital one-wire bus (m-Bus) with additional Breakout Boxes to easily expand the application spectrum. This makes the dashboard highly versatile and makes application to a wide range of vehicles and tasks possible.
The billet aluminum casing is CNC-machined and is easily mounted by two backside threaded holes. The instrument is equipped with an ABE and does not have to be registered.
Please order the Breakout Box to connect indicator light signals (see Breakout Box Std.) or to connect digital bus systems (Triumph, H-D) additionally. For BMW R9T a Breakout Box is not necessary.

The motoscope classic speedo from motogadget is an analogue speedometer with many additional digital features in a classic round casing. A white dial and a red indicator driven by a precision stepper motor comprise the analogue rev counter. An LC display and four indicator LEDs indicate the additional features accurately and reliably.
This compact instrument creates new possibilities in vehicle design. The design goes well with every type of mod or original machine - regardless of a real classic, youngtimer, custom or sports bike. The motoscope classic is equally suited for sports or kit cars.
High-end materials, assembly by hand and our scrupulous quality control provide the highest possible quality in functionality and looks.

Casing
The high-quality aluminum casing is turned and machined from the block by CNC technology. The surface is brushed first and later anodized in black or natural aluminum. The casing is 100% water-tight. The viewing glass is made from scratch-proof special plastic. The widely used 80-mm-dimensions allow for easy replacement of the original instruments.
Analogue dial with indicator and the LC display
The readability of the speed is optimal due to the red indicator on the white dial. The innovative background illumination achieves maximum usage of the dial area.
The readability and illumination of the LC display remain outstanding, even in cases of direct sunlight. Four ultra-bright indicator LEDs complete the instrument. The red LED acts as a warning light when reaching the set threshold for rpm, temperatures (min./max.), pressure readings (min./max.), vehicle voltage and the oil pressure switch or similar connected transmitting devices. Different warnings are easily distinguishable due to different blinking patterns or continuous lighting.
Operation
Display pages of the LCD display are swapped with the menu button. Different measurement readings can be displayed if needed by the push of a button. Default settings or saved values will of course be preserved in the memory even if the power is cut.
Mounting
The widely used mounting diameter provides instrument adaptivity to many vehicle platforms. We provide optional mounting parts. Refer to "Mounting".
Sensors and connection
The connector cable is approx. 55 cm in length and the connectors are already pre-installed on the instrument side. Matching counter parts for the vehicle side are included.
The engine speed measurement input is easily connected to the ignition coil or ignition box. The included stainless steel speedometer sensor is small (M5/22 mm) and is effortlessly connected to the front or rear wheel by the 1.5 m connector cable.
We provide appropriate sensors for optimal measurements of air, oil and water temperature as well as oil pressure (refer to 'Accessories').
Versions
A technically identical instrument with a black dial (refer to 'Chronoclassic') or configured as an analogue speedometer (refer to the analogue CLASSIC series speedometer) is also available.
