The 1970s' Punk scene brought us a new type of street art. These band posters, like the bands themselves, reflected the underground culture and an anti-establishment attitude. They were often photos from gigs with cutout letters from magazines pasted together and then xeroxed in black and white. They were as loud and aggressive as the music itself.
Our "Garage Band Hoodie" is inspired by the band posters from the Sex Pistols and other great bands of the era! We've adopted their iconic street art style to celebrate our own grass-roots sub-culture.
